We empower organisations large and small with secure and resilient connectivity. We unlock their potential to thrive and innovate anywhere in the world – connecting everyone to a brighter digital future.

We aim to be the most trusted provider of secure connectivity and collaboration in the UK and internationally. We’re a powerhouse for business and government: investing and simplifying on behalf of our customers, helping them transition from the old to the new and driving the digital economy.

Bas Burger CEO, Business, BT
  • We’re the leading business communications provider in the UK, connecting more than one million businesses and public sector organisations to their colleagues and customers. We support businesses of all sizes – whatever tech needs they may have. Our network, products and services also underpin the operations of other UK communications providers too.

We offer a broad portfolio of products and services across:

Openreach gives us access to fixed-line and broadband infrastructure, while the EE network is the key to our mobile phone services.

    What businesses do we support?

We help businesses of all sizes to reach their digital goals. Our customers range from big household names, government departments and the public sector, right through to small businesses and new start-ups.

But regardless of size, we provide organisations with fixed voice, mobility, fibre connectivity, and IT services, so everyone has a chance to flourish. Cutting-edge tech, paired with our network, allows organisations to hit their digital transformation targets – and keep evolving as the tech does.

    Wholesale

Our Wholesale business helps communication providers (CPs) and other organisations to provide fixed or mobile phone services to their customers. And we work with more than 1,400 customers to do just that, serving big names like Sky, Talk Talk, O2, Three, and Virgin Media.

    • We also help Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNOs) offer their own-branded mobile services and plans via our award-winning EE mobile network.
    • Plus, we provide specialist media and broadcasting services in the UK and globally. We work with major broadcasters like the BBC, Channel 4, ITV, Sky, and Premier League Productions.

Our Wholesale arm in Business is also dedicated to specialist, mass-market services, like our Gigabit Wi-Fi enabled Street Hubs and Directories. While our specialist call centre teams handle tens of millions of 999 and directory enquiry calls every year.

  • We’re a leading communications provider, serving business customers in 180 countries across the world. We provide managed network, security and cloud solutions, enabling our customers' digital transformations.

    We’re all about transformation

Digital transformation affects our customers and their customers, too. It affects our competitors and the markets we operate in. It affects our strategic partners and the race to roll out new technology and solutions. And it affects our people and how they serve our customers.

Ultimately, transformation is what we do. We help our customers to embrace the opportunities of digitisation.

    How does Global work?

The worldwide market continues to change. This is driven by both rapid technology innovation and a dynamic competitive landscape. And we know our customers’ demands are evolving towards a more flexible, on-demand model – supported by new cloud-based and software-defined networking solutions. Our job is to provide them. We’re continuing our transformation programme to support this, along with standardising our own operations, upgrading our infrastructure, and providing innovative, tailored solutions to suit our customers.

Our aim is to support leading multinational organisations and companies. Whether that be through our expertise, our network, cloud solutions, or security; we’re always here.
