Please note: Old share certificates (BT share certificates ceased to be valid in November 2001 at the time of the demerger of O2 (now part of Telefonica). BT Group plc share certificates were issued to replace the old BT certificates and these were sent to shareholders in December 2001.

EasyShare, is a Corporate Sponsored Nominee (CSN), a nominee service sponsored by BT Group plc and provided by Equiniti Financial Services Limited, and is an easy way to hold BT Group shares electronically. As you don’t hold a share certificate(s), there is no risk of losing it. You must be aged 18 or over and resident in the UK, European Economic Area (EEA), Switzerland, Isle of Man, Channel Islands or Gibraltar in order to participate in EasyShare.

EQi accounts (i.e. ISAs) (UK residents only)

You can transfer your shares to an EQi account, a flexible investment account provided by EQi, enabling you to access over 8,000 investment options from a variety of industries and markets.
