Gopal is currently the Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Bharti Airtel. Prior to this, Gopal spent 20 years at Hindustan Unilever, where he held leadership roles across multiple categories. His last position was the Head of the Home and Personal Care division, he was also a member of the Hindustan Unilever board.
Extensive experience in the global telecommunications industry.
Gopal serves on the board of Bharti Airtel Limited, Airtel Africa plc and Indus Towers. He is also the Chairperson of GSMA.
