Alison Wilcox rejoined BT Group plc on 1 June as Chief People and Culture Officer, bringing with her a wealth of experience across human resources, strategy, and organisational transformation.
Alison began her career in the NHS before moving into management consultancy and HR leadership roles with international organisations including Hay Group and Vodafone. She previously served as Group HR Director at BT, where she played a pivotal role in shaping and delivering a company-wide transformation agenda. Her work focused on modernising and simplifying the business while building new digital platforms and experiences to enhance customer outcomes.
Since stepping down from BT in 2022, Alison has held non-executive director and committee chair roles at Shepherd Building Group, Health Data Research UK, Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust and Glas Cymru.
Her return to BT marks a continued commitment to driving cultural evolution and people-focused innovation across the organisation.
