This marks the first time a UK mobile operator has enabled customers to seamlessly move their number and tariff between major device ecosystems in this way, removing one of the biggest friction points when switching smartphones.
All it takes is a simple tap in your device settings to kick-off the process. Everything else then happens in just a few minutes behind the scenes, ensuring the secure transfer of your number and tariff from one device to the other. The experience is identical in both directions, giving customers full control to switch when and how they want, and removing any complexity previously associated with the process. There’s no longer any need to scan QR codes, download apps, or spend time on the phone to us.
