Parent control and payment PINs
Take control over what your kids stumble across (and rent) by setting up a parental control PIN.
Parental control PIN
- To control access to programmes with an age rating.
- The default PIN is 1234.
- You can change it at any time in (Settings).
Payment PIN
To buy films or TV shows on the TV Player. You can have the same PIN for both if you like.
If you forget your payment PIN, call us on 0330 123 1105 or find out how to reset your TV box.
You may need to set up other PINs or passwords to access other players like Amazon or Netflix.
Accessibility features
Click the top right button of the remote control, and you’ll find a range of accessibility features to help you watch your TV service:
Not all broadcasters allow these features, but if they do, you can turn them on/off in Settings.
Select Appearance and you can:
- switch on high contrast
- remove channel logos
- remove transparency
which may make the menus and text easier to read.
You can also use the Zoom feature to make text bigger in the Guide or in Apps, which can be found in More, and switched on or off by selecting OK.
Or you can use a UK plug-in USB keyboard, either alongside the remote or instead of it. Just plug your keyboard into the back of your TV box and use the keys like you would on a remote control.
