Adding an account on My BT

To manage your BT account online, it needs to be listed as one of the accounts you can see when you log in to My BT.

If an account isn't listed, you might not be able to use products and services linked to that BT account. For example, you might not be able to watch BT Sport online or via the app when you log in with your BT ID.

  1. Go to www.bt.com/mybt and log in using your BT ID username and password
  2. Click on Settings and then Account

  3. If you have more than one account linked to your profile, look on the right corner of your screen for a dropdown and click on it. This will show a list of accounts linked to your BT ID

If there's a missing account on this page, follow the steps below to add the account to your BT ID.

  1. Go to www.bt.com/mybt and log in using your BT ID username and password
  2. Click on Settings and then Account

  3. Scroll down the page and you'll find the Add an account link


    You'll need your BT account number, which you can find on any bill we've sent you, or you can ask us to send you a reminder.

    If you've recently ordered something from us, it can take a few days before your account number's available.

  4. Follow the steps on the page to add an account
