I'm getting broadband and EE TV installed at the same time
All equipment will be delivered two days before your appointment.
The engineer will:
- Install the phone line (if you've signed up for one) and broadband equipment.
- Install or reconnect your TV box.
- Connect your TV box to the BT Hub with an Ethernet cable or via Wi-Fi.
- Carry a spare TV box if yours isn't delivered on time.
- Run cables internally or externally and between floors if necessary.
- Leave cabling visible around skirting boards and doorways. It can't be hidden under carpets.
- If required, work on the TV aerial cable inside the home, but you'll be referred to an aerial specialist if there's a problem with the aerial itself.
- Be unable to access your loft.
I'm just getting EE TV installed, I already have broadband and a phone line
The engineer will bring the TV equipment for the appointment. If a new Hub is required as part of the order, it'll be delivered before the appointment.
The engineer will:
- Provide you with possible cabling options before starting any work.
- Install an Ethernet cable from your BT Hub to your TV box.
- Leave cabling visible around skirting boards and doorways, and may need to drill holes.
- Be unable to access your loft.
