Common questions about moving to Digital Voice
Will my phone still work if my power cuts out?
Yes, if your phone works today in a power cut it will continue to after your Digital Voice upgrade.
Do I have to pay extra for Digital Voice?
No, your call package and line rental will remain the same.
Do I make calls the same way after the upgrade?
You must add the area dialling code for the number you're calling - local or national calls.
Why does my first bill look different?
As you pay for your phone service in advance, the first bill after you switch over to your new phone service will look a little different. You’ll see a credit for the duration you were charged in advance on your old service. And you’ll see a charge for the new service during the same period. The credit and the charge will cancel each other out.
Your new phone service features a Voicemail service
Voicemail is built into your new home phone service, so callers can leave a message if you’re unable to answer or on another call. You can expect an interrupted dial tone when someone has left you a message. To access this, dial 1571 from your home phone.
