Why do the batteries keep running low on my BT Baby Monitor?

Your BT Baby Monitor Parent unit, when new and fully charged, has an approximate performance time of 9 hours (the performance time will vary depending on the sensitivity level set, usage and the battery age). However, battery performance will diminish over time, usually after 12 months. If you believe the battery performance is too short for the time you have had your monitor, then try the following:

  • Remove and then replace the battery pack. Charge the Parent unit for 12 hours

    Replacing the batteries

  • If the battery pack still does not hold its charge, it may have to be replaced

Important information about replacing the batteries

You must replace the battery pack with the same type and rating (3.7V 950mAh battery pack). Using incorrect battery pack could damage your product, cause overheating or a possible fire or explosion.

Battery packs are available from the BT Helpline on 0808 100 6554. Calls made from within the UK mainland network are free. Mobile and international call costs may vary.
