Use your phone to listen to your voicemail while you’re outside the UK.
Before you go
Set this up before you travel:
- Turn on roaming
Check your roaming settings in Manage what you spend. - Set up a voicemail PIN
You’ll need this to access your messages abroad.

Listen to your voicemail abroad
- Dial your BT Mobile number.
- Press * (star) when the voicemail message starts.
- Enter your voicemail PIN.
If it doesn’t work:
- check that roaming is turned on in your account
- make sure you’ve already set up your voicemail PIN
- try again with a strong mobile signal
