Accessible support for finding phone numbers

The UK’s ageing and unreliable copper landline network is being retired.
When BT contacts you, take action to avoid disruption to your home phone or broadband services

Further information and support are available on our Connected Together website, or by calling 0330 1234 150.

If you have sight loss or a disability that makes it difficult to use printed directories, you may be able to register for the free 195 Directory Enquiries service.

Once registered, you can call 195 from your home phone or mobile and speak to an operator who can help you find the number you're looking for. If you'd like to be connected to the number, you'll be charged at the same rate as if you'd dialled it yourself.

Registered 195 customers also don't have to pay the BT 1471 and BT 1571 call return fee, which would normally be charged in addition to standard call charges.

We'll send you an application form, which must be completed and confirmed by a doctor, nurse or other medical professional before registration can be approved.

We can also provide directory information in accessible formats, including large print, Braille and audio.

To find out more and apply To apply, call our registration team on 0800 587 0195. Lines are open Monday to Friday, 9am to 4:30pm.,

You can also search and download directory information online using our A-Z Directory Finder.
