Caller Display shows you the caller's number, so you can decide whether to answer the call or let it go to your answering service.
If the caller is listed in your Address Book, then Caller Display will also show the name of the person trying to contact you.
Numbers will not be displayed if the call is from payphones, some switchboards, non-BT networks or where a caller's number is withheld.
This service does not guarantee the origin of the call. Customers are advised to be wary of fraudulent callers.
Caller Display is free for all our Digital Voice and Home Phone Standard customers.
Yes, the choice is yours.
If a caller has chosen to withhold their number, Caller Display shows that the number is withheld.

Cancel Caller Display
Digital Voice customers
You can log in to your account and easily cancel Caller Display from My BT.
To do this:
- Visit our Calling Features page.
- Enter your BT ID password (if you’re not already logged in).
- Enter your phone number and email address, then select Continue.
- Scroll down to the 'Privacy' section and select Remove.
- At the bottom of the page, select Continue.
- You’ll see an overview of your request. Select Checkout.
- Confirm your email address and choose Continue.
- Finally, agree to the terms and conditions and then select Place Order.
That’s it – we’ll remove Caller Display from your service.
Home Phone Standard Customers
Contact us to cancel, this can't be done online.
