How do I call someone who is deaf, hard of hearing or speech impaired?

The UK’s ageing and unreliable copper landline network is being retired.
When BT contacts you, take action to avoid disruption to your home phone or broadband services

Further information and support are available on our Connected Together website, or by calling 0330 1234 150.

If your hearing and speech are fine, but you'd like to call someone who is deaf, hard of hearing or speech-impaired, you can call them through Relay UK.

This is where a relay assistant will join the call to translate what you say into text and read out what the person types back, as needed, to support the conversation best.
