Can I avoid being disconnected for not paying my bill in exceptional circumstances?

Our free Protected Services Scheme stops your phone line from being cut off if you forget to pay your phone bill due to exceptional circumstances. For example, this might be because you or someone you know has:

  • an illness that requires a stay in hospital;
  • Alzheimer's or another dementia; or
  • any other cognitive problems.

By joining the scheme you can nominate someone else we can contact so that your phone line isn't disconnected if your bill is unpaid.
