Log in to BT Email
Go to email.bt.com and enter your email address and password.
Bookmark the page so you can get back to it quickly.
Having trouble logging in?
- Check your email address and password for mistakes.
- Make sure Caps Lock is off.
- If you’ve forgotten your password, use the Forgotten password link on the login page.

If you enter the wrong detail too many times, your account will be locked for a short time. Learn more about repeat log-in failures.
Email clients and the BT Email app
If you can't log in using an email app (like Outlook or Apple Mail), first check if you can log in at email.bt.com. This shows if the problem is with your app or your login details.
Changed your email password? Make sure you update it in your app settings. Get more help with setting up your email.
Suspended or compromised accounts
- Suspended - If your email address is suspended, you'll see an error message with instructions. Learn more about suspended email addresses

Managing your BT Email
You can create multiple email address using your BT ID, but you'll need to log in to each one separately.
Your email and BT ID are separate, even if the email address is the same. Passwords may be different.
To manage or create email addresses, log in at bt.com/login. Make sure your BT ID is activated. If it isn't, you need to activate it.
