This page explains what the BT Reward Card is, how to claim, activate and use it, plus time limits and what to do if it doesn’t arrive.
The BT Reward Card is pre‑loaded with money and works wherever Mastercard is accepted. It uses Chip and PIN, making it more secure than cash.
To qualify, you need to have ordered one of our products or services online at BT.com as part of a BT Reward Card offer.

About the BT Reward Card
The BT Reward Card can be used at most merchants which display the Mastercard® acceptance mark until the funds on the card are depleted or until the card's expiry date. Unspent funds which remain on the card after the expiry date printed on the card cannot be redeemed. The card cannot be used at any Customer Activated Terminals (such as, but not limited to, pay@pump, toll roads, car parks or train ticket terminals), for subscriptions/automated periodic payments, to withdraw cash via cashback/ATM, foreign exchange bureaus, gambling, or any illegal goods/services.
Your reward will be sent to your BT Broadband installation address or the address we sent your BT Mobile SIM or phone to.
How to claim a BT Reward Card
Once your product or service is up and running:
- Go to the Claim your BT Reward Card page
- Log in with your BT ID and password to see if you have a reward
- If you're eligible, complete the form, and we'll send out your card within 30 working days.
- If you have BT Mobile and are eligible for a BT Reward Card, you can claim it 30 days after purchase.
Activating a BT Reward Card
Don't worry, we'll send you an activation email with all the details:
- To activate the card, visit www.purecard.com
- Enter your activation code and nine digit card ID - you'll find this on the bottom of the card
- Once you've activated the card we'll send out your PIN. That's it, time to go shopping
- If you want to keep track of your balance you can download the Pure Card app or visit www.purecard.com
Use it or lose it
Once we issue your card, you have 12 months to use it. If you don't use it within this period, we'll remove any remaining funds.
Activate your card within three months of your product going live. After that, the balance will be removed.
What if my BT Reward Card doesn't turn up?
If it doesn't arrive within 30 working days, email info@cardholdersvs.com.

Lost your BT Reward Card?
Please keep the card safe. The money loaded onto the card should be treated just like the cash in your wallet.
In the event of loss or theft of the card, you are responsible for reporting this as soon as possible by calling Cardholder Services on 0344 800 6435 (Calls are charged at the same standard network rate as 01 or 02 landline numbers, even when calling from a mobile) and selecting the Lost & Stolen option.
Once this is done, the card will be blocked immediately, protecting you from unauthorised use.
