BT Cloud

BT Cloud was a data storage service provided to BT Broadband customers who registered before 26 October 2022. Demand for our service dropped significantly, so we decided to close it. There are plenty of alternative providers, such as:

Apple iCloud
Microsoft OneDrive
Google One

They all offer free and paid-for options for data storage.

Download and move files

We asked our customers to make sure that they moved any files they wanted to keep to an alternative provider before it closed.

Read-only or download only

From 9 September 2024 BT Cloud became read-only. This meant that you could not add any more files or edit existing ones. You could still view, download and delete files until 31 October 2024.

How to uninstall BT Cloud

On a Windows computer

Select the Windows Start Menu.
Type Remove.
Select Add or remove programs.
Select the BT Cloud App and then Uninstall.

On a Mac

Open the BT Cloud App.
Select the Menu icon (three dots).
Select Uninstall.
