How do I get BritBox?
If you are (or become) a BT Broadband customer you can get a 6 months of BritBox on us.
Just go to My BT, log in with your My BT details and then click Get BritBox. You can then set up a new BritBox account or log in to your existing BritBox account to get 6 months on us.
Who can get BritBox for 6 months on us?
New and existing BT Broadband customers can try BritBox for 6 month on us.
New customers can add BritBox when their broadband starts, and existing BT Broadband customers can add BritBox at any time. Either way, just go to My BT and log in with your My BT details. Then select Get BritBox to get set up.
How much does it cost?
BritBox costs £5.99 a month but the first 6 months are on us if you are a BT broadband customer.
Can I sign up to BritBox if I have an existing account?
Yes, sign up to the '6 months on us' offer at My BT and your billing will be transferred across to BT from the point you complete your activation.
If you're already using BritBox with a free trial or discount, we suggest waiting until that ends before signing up with BT.
Setting up and using BritBox on BT TV
How do I get started?
Anyone with BT Broadband can now add BritBox membership to their BT bill.
To watch BritBox on your TV, you'll need to activate '6 months of BritBox on us'. Simply visit My BT, log in and activate your offer.
Once you have activated, open the BritBox player on your BT TV box - it's in Players and Apps in the BT TV menu - and link your BritBox account to your BT TV box using the steps set out on screen.
What devices can I use to watch BritBox?

Can I watch BritBox on my BT TV box?
BritBox is available on all current 4K recordable, recordable and non-recordable TV boxes.
If you have an older recordable TV box, which looks like the one below, it won't have access to the BritBox Player. Contact us and ask for an upgrade.
You can also watch BritBox on thousands of other devices, like smartphones, tablets and computers. For more information, take a look at the BritBox website.
How do I sync the BritBox app to my BT TV box?
When you launch the BritBox app for the first time, you'll need to sync your BT TV box to your BritBox account. To do this, follow the on-screen instructions.

Will parental control settings on BT TV work on BritBox?
If you have a parental PIN set up on your BT TV box, you'll be asked to enter the PIN anytime you watch age-restricted content on the BritBox Player.
BritBox also have their own parental controls, which have a separate PIN. If you have parental controls set up on your BritBox account, you'll be prompted to enter your PIN when watching restricted content via the BT TV box. I have an extra BT TV box, can I watch BritBox on both boxes?
You can watch BritBox on any device that supports it, including a second BT TV box. To find out more, visit the BritBox Help pages >
How many devices can I watch BritBox on at once?
You can stream BritBox content on up to 5 devices at any one time.
If you have BT TV, watching BritBox on your BT TV box won't count towards your broadband allowance. If you watch BritBox on any other devices in the home, and they're connected to your BT Broadband, then it will count. But if you have an unlimited broadband package, you don't need to worry about this.
If you don't have BT TV and have a limited broadband package, watching BritBox on your TV box will contribute to your monthly allowance.
With all BT Broadband packages, your internet speed could slow down if you use any streaming services, (including those on BT TV), at the same time as using your broadband for other things.
Managing your BritBox account
How will I be billed?
BritBox is a monthly membership service that you pay in advance. You'll be billed for this every month (on around the date that your service started) unless you cancel.
If you choose to take BritBox through BT, the monthly fee will appear on your BT bill.
How do I cancel my BritBox account?
To stop the auto-renewal of your BritBox account, log in to My BT.
You won't have to pay a cancellation fee. However, we won't refund you for any days you've already paid for. Instead you'll have access to the service until the date that the membership would have auto-renewed (you can find this on your bill).
What happens if I cancel my BT Broadband?
If you cancel your BT Broadband service, your access to BritBox will end on the first BritBox bill date after your Broadband is cancelled. If you've already paid for a month's access to BritBox before cancelling broadband, you can continue to watch it until that month ends.
To avoid paying for any additional months of BritBox you can choose to opt out of your auto-renewal at the same time you cancel broadband.
What if I move?
If you move home there'll be no break in your BritBox service as long as you keep BT Broadband. You'll still be able to access it on any BritBox compatible device.
