Getting help on your smartphone or tablet

When you can't get online on your computer, you can get help using a mobile device like a smartphone or tablet. Just go to in your mobile browser or download the My BT app >

The award-winning My BT app has its very own help section with tools for testing your broadband speed and checking how services are performing in your area. You'll also find troubleshooting and FAQs.

To get the My BT app:

  • If you've got an Apple or Android phone, simply text 'MyBT' to 81192 and we'll send you a link to download the app.

How to uninstall BT Desktop Help

  • Run the "Uninstall BT Desktop Help" option from the Start menu.
