A career in regulatory affairs means helping to shape the regulatory landscape in the UK and across the globe to enable BT to deliver sustainable value growth. We play a key role in helping the different parts of BT to navigate this.

We want to build trust in our business, and we aim to do this in a straightforward, collaborative and consistent way. Around forty people work in regulatory affairs, and our role is diverse – focussing not only on understanding and providing arguments based on law, and economics and risk management, but also on building relationships and influencing. And because of this, a role with us provides a fantastic opportunity to widen and deepen a variety of skill sets.

Working in regulatory affairs gives you the opportunity to work strategically across all aspects of BT's business and with external stakeholders in regulatory bodies, across government and beyond. It provides a great opportunity for someone looking to widen their experience and network.
