Matt Smith is an experienced sports broadcaster who joined BT Sport in 2015 following his departure from ITV Sport.
He is BT Sport's lead cricket anchor, fronting our coverage of the 2017-18 Ashes series and the ODI and T20 contests between Australia and England.
Matt is also the main presenter on live National League broadcasts, as well as hosting Europa League highlights shows, and has also featured on our BDO World Championship coverage.
A keen Liverpool fan, Matt worked for BBC News, BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 5 Live before making his mark at ITV Sport, where he was an integral part of their broadcast team for 14 years.
His presenting highlights include four World Cups, three European Championships, Champions League finals, Europa League finals, FA Cup finals and England internationals.
Matt was the network's main IPL presenter for four years, while he has also hosted shows such as Kick Off and Weekend Sports Breakfast for talkSPORT.
