When is the north London derby?

One of the most iconic rivalries in the Premier League era - and certainly the most entertaining in recent years - the north London derby is essential viewing for any football fan.

The first meeting of the new season between Arsenal and Tottenham takes place on Saturday 25 September with managerless Spurs travelling to the Emirates.

Mikel Arteta's men return the favour on Saturday 15 January as they travel to the illustrious Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

When is the Merseyside derby?

Another classic Premier League rivalry that has provided endless drama and entertainment, the Merseyside derby will be pencilled into calendars across the north west and beyond this week.

The first fixture will be a midweek affair with Everton hoping to make use of home advantage on Tuesday 30 November against their noisy neighbours.

Liverpool then welcome the Toffees to Anfield a few months laer, on Saturday 23 April, to resume hostilies at the business end of the season.

When is the Manchester derby?

No local rivalry has had more significance in the title race in recent seasons than this - and it looks set to be that way once again with both Manchester City and Manchester United among the early favourites to win the league.

Old Trafford is the venue on Saturday 6 November for the first meeting between the two sides as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men look to keep up their recent impressive record against City.

Pep Guardiola's Premier League champions return the favour on Saturday 5 March as they welcome United to the Etihad.

And there are plenty more big games to come!
