Newcastle still waiting to hear if Alexander Isak can face Liverpool
Aug 30 | 2 min readEverton play host to West Brom in Matchday 2 of the nascent Premier League season with both sides experiencing differing fortunes in the first game of the campaign.
The Toffees showcased their new-look midfield in the opening day against Tottenham and emerged 1-0 winners in north London thanks to Dominic Calvert-Lewin's header.
But West Brom, back in the big time following a two-year absence, found the going considerable tougher as they went down 3-0 at home to Leicester City.
Will Slaven Bilic's side spring a surprise on their trip to Merseyside? Or will Carlo Ancelotti's men build up a head of steam with victory over the newly-promoted Baggies?
