Holders Bayern Munich are on course for a domestic double ahead of the German Cup final against Bayer Leverkusen on Saturday 4 July.

Bayern, who secured the Bundesliga title for a record 30th time, are chasing a 20th German Cup win at the Olympiastadion in Berlin.

Leverkusen finished fifth in the Bundesliga after an impressive return to action post-lockdown and Peter Bosz’s side cruised past fourth-tier Saarbruecken to reach Saturday’s showpiece.

Hansi Flick’s men scored a late winner against Eintracht Frankfurt to reach the final.

Bayern’s Robert Lewandowski has been in devastating form for the European titans this season while Leverkusen’s prodigious Kai Havertz has proven himself to be the future of German football.

Will Bayern pick up where they left off when the Bundesliga concluded last week? Or will Leverkusen spring a surprise?
