The five British teams are among 16 seeded clubs made up of the 12 group winners and the four Champions League arrivals with the best records.

The draw will take place from 12pm on Monday 14 December at UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland.

How does the Europa League last 32 draw work?

Teams are divided into two pots, 12 group winners and the four Champions League arrivals with the best records are seeded.

The 12 runners-up from the group stage of this year’s competition and the four Champions League entrants with the worst records are unseeded.

No teams that faced each other in the group stages can be drawn together in the last 32, nor can clubs from the same country be drawn against each other.

The seeded teams will play the second legs of their last 32 ties at home.

Who can Man Utd face in the Europa League last 32?

As United did not take part in the Europa League group stages and their fellow Premier League sides finished top of their groups, the whole unseeded side of the draw is open.

The last 16 draw will take place on Friday 26 February, a day after the round of 32 tie second legs.

The quarter-final and semi-final draws will then both take place on Friday 19 March.
