Team news

Both clubs go into this match with injury concerns. Graham Potter is without Marc Cucurella (illness) and N'Golo Kante, while goalkeeper Edouard Mendy returns he may still miss out to Kepa Arrizabalaga, who's deputised well in his absence.

After his winning weekend strike against Crystal Palace, Conor Gallagher could be in with a chance of starting, although he arrived off the bench at Selhurst Park.

Potter is likely to stick with the partnerships of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Raheem Sterling up front and Thiago Silva and Wesley Fofana in defence.

AC Milan picked up a trio of injuries in their epic encounter against Empoli at the weekend - a game which Milan won in injury time.

Defenders Simon Kjaer and Davide Calabria both had to be subbed off due to hamstring injuries, as did forward Alexis Saelemaekers who injured his knee.

These three injuries added to the already long list of absentees, including goalkeeper Mike Maignan, defenders Theo Hernandez and Alessandro Florenzi, midfielder Junior Messias, and striker Divock Origi and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
