Premier League

An extraordinary Premier League campaign ends in May, with the title race and relegation battle set to go down to the wire.

Man City lead Liverpool by one point with five games remaining in one of the tightest title races in recent memory.

At the other end of the table, Everton, Burnley and Leeds are fighting to avoid the drop with Norwich and Watford on the verge of an immediate return to the Championship.

North London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham are the frontrunners to finish fourth and claim the final Champions League place.

BT Sport will show a huge game at the top of the table on Saturday 7 May when Liverpool host Spurs.

The two sides played out an exhilarating 2-2 draw in the reverse fixture in December and there is so much at stake when they renew acquaintances at Anfield.

Jurgen Klopp’s side could still be chasing an unprecedented quadruple while Spurs will need a positive result to keep pace with Arsenal.

Spurs will be in action again in another colossal encounter against Burnley on Sunday 15 May on BT Sport.

The Clarets have found form at the perfect time after Sean Dyche’s dismissal but will need to pick up more points to preserve their Premier League status.
