Here are the events that you simply can’t afford to miss.

Premier League

Liverpool’s 30-year wait for a top-flight title has finally ended – but there’s still plenty to play for as the Premier League comes to a conclusion in July.

BT Sport were with you every step of the way as the Reds stormed to a historic league win and we’ve got more games for your delectation in July which have huge ramifications at both ends of the table.

On Wednesday 8 July, Manchester City entertain Newcastle in a repeat of their FA Cup quarter final and relegation-threatened West Ham host Burnley.

Then in another BT Sport double-header on Saturday 11 July, Norwich are in action when they welcome West Ham on the same day champions Liverpool play Burnley at Anfield.

Tottenham’s trip to St. James' Park to take on in-form Newcastle is live on Wednesday 15 July and the very next day we’re showing another crunch double-header as Crystal Palace host a resurgent Manchester United and Southampton entertain Brighton.

The Saints are in action in front of the BT Sport cameras once again on Sunday 19 July against another side scrapping for survival in neighbours Bournemouth.

Then, on Monday 20 July, European hopefuls Wolves welcome Crystal Palace to Molineux in another must-win for Nuno Espirito Santo’s impressive outfit who still have Europa League commitments to look forward to in August.

FA Cup

Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and holders Manchester City are set to battle it out for the FA Cup

The world’s oldest cup competition continues on BT Sport in July with a tantalising semi-final.

BT Sport will broadcast Arsenal v Manchester City for a place in the FA Cup final exclusively live on Saturday July 18 with kick-off set for 7.45pm.

The pair will clash at Wembley for the third time in three years after meetings in the 2017 FA Cup semi-final and the 2018 League Cup final.

Manchester United will face Chelsea in the other semi-final in what’s set to be an unmissable weekend of action.

United, who beat Norwich after extra time to reach the last four, have won it 12 times, while Chelsea have eight wins. Pep Guardiola’s City are five-time champions.

Both ties will be played at Wembley on the weekend of 18 and 19 July and the final, which will also be broadcast on BT Sport, is scheduled for Saturday 1 August at the same venue.

The FA Cup returned to BT Sport with two blockbuster quarter-final ties in June as Dani Ceballos scored a dramatic injury-time winner against Sheffield United to keep the Gunners in the hunt for silverware.

A sub-par Chelsea then scraped past an out-of-form Leicester side courtesy of a second-half goal from midfielder Ross Barkley.

July is all set to be a veritable feast of football and a blockbuster FA Cup semi-final between two of the competition’s most successful teams is not one to be missed.

UFC

The UFC returned in May and has continued to stage captivating events throughout the pandemic. But this time it’s different.

The world’s premier mixed martial arts promotion will be heading to Abu Dhabi in July with four events planned in a spectacular new location – complete with an Octagon on the beach!

Fight Island will take place on Abu Dhabi’s Yas Island with a bumper UFC 251 featuring three title fights on the opening night.

UFC 251 on Saturday 11 July is headlined by welterweight Kamaru Usman’s defence against Jorge Masvidal and also features featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski’s rematch against Max Holloway and Petr Yan vs Jose Aldo for the vacant bantamweight title.

All-action featherweights Calvin Kattar and Dan Ige headline the next card on Thursday 16 July alongside a strong co-main event between Frankie Edgar and Pedro Munhoz.

The flyweight championship clash between Deiveson Figueiredo and Joseph Benavidez heads up the third card from Fight Island on Saturday 19 July before Darren Till makes his long-awaited return against Robert Whittaker.

‘The Gorilla’ will take on the former middleweight champion in the last event to be staged at Fight Island.

MotoGP

Strap yourselves in because MotoGP is back on BT Sport in July – and we cannot wait for the full throttle action to return.

Racing is set to resume on Sunday 19 July, with Jerez in Spain hosting two races over two weekends to begin the 2020 season.

A revised calendar of 13 European races has been confirmed, with four potential flyaways to be added at the end of the year.

BT Sport will broadcast the Grand Prix of Spain and Andalucia – both from Jerez – in July on Sunday 19 July and Sunday 26 July, respectively.

Honda’s Marc Marquez has set his sights on a seventh world championships in eight attempts in 2020 after another record-breaking season last year.

With Marquez coming off shoulder surgery, contenders Fabio Quartararo, Andrea Dovizioso and Maverick Viñales will all be vying to claim the Spaniard’s crown.

Keep an eye on the prodigious crop of young riders coming through the ranks including Alex Rins, Joan Mir and Jack Miller, too.

Boxing

Big-time boxing is back and BT Sport is the only place to watch the first live televised show in the UK since the coronavirus lockdown.

Frank Warren and Queensberry Promotions have announced three British title fights with boxing set to return on Friday 10 July.

Brad Foster takes on James Beech in a super-bantamweight British Commonwealth title fight in the headline slot when boxing returns at BT Sport’s studio.

Also on the card WBO European super welterweight champion Hamzah Sheeraz will defend his belt against Scot Paul Kean and heavyweight David Adeleye will be hoping for another stoppage victory in his second professional fight and Lightweight Mark ‘Da Bomb’ Chamberlain.

Warren intends to stage more shows which could see Anthony Cacace face Lyon Woodstock and Lerrone Richards square off against Umar Sadiq.

Warren said: “Our opening show on July 10 is just for starters and we will be looking to go bigger and better as we move along in our summer season that will see us deliver at least five TV shows.
