As we head into the fourth Ashes Test from the Sydney Cricket Ground, The McGrath Foundation is aiming to make this the ‘pinkest’ Ashes ever and raise money in support of Australia’s breast cancer nurses.

The Australian charity is selling 350,000 Virtual Pink Seats that will ensure 5,000 individuals and families experiencing breast cancer in Australia will have the support of a McGrath Breast Care Nurse this year.

You can donate to the McGrath Foundation on the Pink Test website by clicking here and purchasing your virtual seat at the Sydney Cricket Ground.

The McGrath Foundation is a breast cancer support charity based in Australia, which raises money for McGrath Breast Care nurses across Australia and aims to increase breast health awareness.

The charity was founded by Australian cricket legend Glenn McGrath and his wife Jane, who sadly passed away at the age of 42 in 2008 following a long battle with breast cancer.

The third day of the Sydney Test at The Ashes is now known as Jane McGrath Day and spectators at the Sydney Cricket Ground wear pink to show their support of the McGrath Foundation. The Ladies Stand is temporarily renamed The Jane McGrath Stand for the day.

The Sydney Pink Test signals the partnership between Cricket Australia and McGrath Foundation. The 2019 Ashes marked it’s 11th year with the Foundation raising over $1.3 million Australian Dollars.

HOW TO GET INVOLVED: No matter where you are, help us make this the ‘pinkest’ Ashes ever by buying your Virtual Pink Seats at pinktest.com.au and sharing across your socials.

Virtual Pink Seats are available to purchase for $20 (AUD) each in lieu of a traditional donation to the McGrath Foundation. Consumers can purchase as many seats as they wish for the additional cost of $20 p/seat. There is no limit to the number of seats available for purchase. It is not an auction.

HOW TO PERSONALISE: Post-purchasing their seats, you are given the opportunity to personalise your Virtual Pink Seats. Personalisation includes: adding names on seats; adding a personal message to seats; adding Australia or England fan ‘stickers’ to seats.

The final personalised seat/s are available as a static image to download to your local device or share directly on social media. The image is also sent to you via email, so you can share and download form there as well.
