TNT Sports is moving from discovery+ to HBO Max, which will become the new home for watching TNT Sports online.

Switching is quick and easy, just follow these 3 steps.

Before you start

Select the type of TNT Sports subscription you have.

Step 1: Activate HBO Max

I have TNT Sports with BT Broadband (TV/App/Sky)

• Log in to My BT 

• Go to Your Products 

• Select TV/Sport (depending on your package) 

• Choose Activate HBO Max 

I have TNT Sports with EE

• If you joined before 18 July 2023 and had an active BT Sport account: 

• Visit: https://www.bt.com/activate 

• If you joined after 18 July 2023 or haven’t activated BT Sport: 

• Visit: https://www.ee.co.uk/TNTSports 

Note: 
If you're on Wi-Fi, you may need to complete a one-time PIN verification using your mobile number.

Having trouble on Apple devices?

• Turn off Wi-Fi and use your mobile network, or 

• Use Chrome and open the EE link there

Step 2: Create or sign in to your HBO Max account

Follow the prompts to create your HBO Max account and accept the Terms of Use

Already have an account? Just sign in

Step 3: Start watching

Download the HBO Max app from your app store, or

Start watching online via your browser

It says I need to pay to watch 
You don’t need to pay again if TNT Sports is included in your BT or EE package. 
Make sure you’ve activated HBO Max, then sign in.

My email or password isn’t recognized

• Your old discovery+ login won’t work 

• You’ll need to create a new HBO Max account 

• If needed, use “Reset your password” on the sign-in page

The HBO Max app is available on most smartphones, tablets, desktop browsers, and most connected devices, including Android TV, Apple TV, Fire TV, Amazon Fire Smart TVs, Samsung Smart TVs, and Roku. A full list of supported devices is here.

Yes, but you’ll need a TV Box Pro or a TV Box Mini. The app is not yet available on older TV boxes.

Once you've activated and created your HBO Max account through BT, you'll be able to browse and watch HBO Max shows through the HBO Max app.

If you have an existing HBO Max subscription and activated this package through BT, you may end up with two subscriptions. To avoid this, cancel your existing HBO Max subscription in accordance with its terms and wait until it ends before activating HBO Max through BT. If you are a registered user of HBO Max and don't have a current HBO Max subscription, when you activate the HBO Max package via BT, you can use your existing account details. The plan will then be added to your existing account.
