Who will win as a UFC icon and YouTuber-turned-boxer meet in the ring?
One of the most divisive personalities in boxing returns to action this weekend as Jake Paul squares off against his toughest test yet in ex-UFC world champion Tyron Woodley.
Since making his professional boxing debut back in 2019, Paul has become one of the most talked-about fighters on the planet along with his brother Logan, who fought Floyd Mayweather earlier this year.
As the 24-year-old prepares to make his fourth foray into the ring, the fight game is divided on how the "The Problem Child" will fare against a veteran competitor like Woodley.
How to watch Jake Paul vs Tyron Woodley
John Fury
"It all depends on Woodley's trainers.
"I don't know that much about Woodley... but the way it's all been set up, business-wise, you've got to lean towards Jake Paul.
"The reason I say that is Jake Paul's management would not risk Jake Paul if Woodley was a real threat.
"Woodley's coming to the end of his career and this might be his last hurrah.
"I just wonder if he's there to make Jake Paul look good, I think he is.
"I think Paul gets Woodley out of there in four or five rounds."
Dan Hardy
"I might be letting the MMA world down here, but I think Jake Paul's going to do it.
"My major concern is how much does Woodley have in the tank? He's going into an eight-round fight against a man who has had three pro fights.
"Of course, Paul hasn't been fighting world beaters, but Tyron is coming to the end of his career and stepping into the ring against a guy with anger, ego and all the belief in the world.
"Paul is a big, strong athlete kid and he would cause most people problems.
"I'll take Jake Paul by unanimous decision."
Jorge Masvidal
"Woodley can throw them hands. Ben Askren never could.
"So, it’s like you’ve got a guy that can fight if it’s slinging fists. Woodley could have made his money grappling, which he did.
"He was good enough of an athlete, and he was good enough of an athlete to make his money with his hands to knock people the f*** out."
Mike Tyson
"Paul's a real good striker, and I think people do him a disservice when they go in there and say, 'He's blonde-haired and blue-eyed, he's a white b***', and I think that also builds their courage up and causes them to get knocked out.
"Jake's gonna beat him. Woodley's not a puncher like that, that's why he wants to fight this guy, to get his last payday probably."
Dana White
"You tell me when is the last time you saw Woodley look like Woodley?
"I'd have to go with Woodley by knockout. Listen, man, Woodley should knock him out.
"But, again, the Tyron Woodley that you talk about, that was the champ, isn't the same f***ing guy he was four years ago."
Tommy Fury
“He has earned a lot of money and if there was any chance of Tyron Woodley beating Jake Paul that contract wouldn’t have got signed.
“Why would Jake Paul put himself in a position where he is going to get knocked spark out?
"He is not going to fight anybody who will test him because he doesn’t need to.”
Israel Adesanya
“Jake most likely. Tyron’s just too small. Yeah, and I mean, Tyron, on the trailer, they called him an expert striker.
“I’m like, since when? Expert striker, yeah, I was like, ‘Since the f*** when?’ He’s got a right hand that he, you know, looks for.
“So, when you have one thing to look for, it’s easier to avoid that. And, yeah, Jake’s big. Jake’s actually a good boxer. So, yeah, if I was gonna bet, I’d bet on Jake Paul.”
KSI
“I think Jake Paul’s going to win. Because
"Every time I’ve said Jake Paul’s going to lose, he wins.
"Same thing happens with crypto. I go 'I’m feeling bullish!' and then it tanks.
"Jake Paul’s going to win. He’s going to absolutely destroy Tyron Woodley."
