Ultra HD compatibility and set up on your 4K TV

To watch BT's Ultra HD content, and to get the highest possible picture quality, you need to check you have (or plan to buy) an Ultra HD/4K TV that's compatible with our Ultra HD service.

Most TV models from 2016 onwards should be compatible, but you should check that your TV has the following:

✓ An HDMI 2.0 port
✓ HDCP2.2 content protection
✓ A picture resolution of 2160p50 (sometimes known as 50Hz)
