To get the best out of YouView services, we recommend that:
- Your TV box is connected to your BT Hub using an ethernet cable, or Mini Connectors, as shown in the quick start guide >
- You leave your box in any standby mode when not in use, rather than switch it off completely
This will make sure that:
- You receive the latest software updates when they're available
- Your scheduled recordings aren't interrupted
