Power and energy consumption of the EE TV boxes

BT TV is now EE TV. You'll still get all the same entertainment and sport you know and love. Find out what EE TV has to offer.

To get the best out of YouView services, we recommend that:

  • Your TV box is connected to your BT Hub using an ethernet cable, or Mini Connectors, as shown in the quick start guide >
  • You leave your box in any standby mode when not in use, rather than switch it off completely

This will make sure that:

  • You receive the latest software updates when they're available
  • Your scheduled recordings aren't interrupted
