TNT Sports recording problems

To record TNT Sports, you'll need a compatible box and subscription. Your box needs to be powered on and connected to the internet. 

 

You might experience recording issues if:

  • there are any disruptions to the power or internet signal to your TV box
  • you use power-saving mode on your TV box
  • there are any problems with the live TV broadcast
  • the event you're trying to record starts or finishes late
  • you switched between aerial mode and internet mode during the event
  • you're recording other channels at the same time

 

Issues watching recordings back

I can't watch recordings on my BT or EE TV box

Compatible boxes: EE TV Box Pro, TV 4K Recordable Box, TV Recordable Box

 

If you are having any issues watching or streaming TNT Sports, follow these steps:

  1. Check your package includes TNT Sports.
  2. Check your broadband is working.
  3. Check your broadband and TV box are set up correctly.
  4. Check if you can watch live TNT Sports channels.
  5. Try recording something else.
  6. Try restarting your hub and TV box.

I can't watch recordings on my Sky or Virgin Media TV box

If you are having any problems watching and recording content on your 3rd party box, follow these steps:

  1. Check your TV subscription includes TNT Sports.
  2. Check if your TV box is compatible.
  3. Check your broadband and TV box are set up correctly.
  4. Check if you can watch live TNT Sports channels.
  5. Try recording something else.
  6. Try restarting your hub and TV box.

 

If you're still experiencing any issues, speak to your TV provider.

 

Streaming using the app

TNT Sports content is only available to watch in the UK. You'll need a reliable internet connection, and you may not be able to watch if you're using a Virtual Private Network (VPN). 

 

Other recording issues

My recording is unavailable

This message usually means your device no longer has the rights to play the recording. This can happen if you change your package or change between aerial mode and internet mode. It can also happen if the recording expires, or if the rightsholder asks us to remove the content.

 

Missing the start or end of the recording

Live sports can be unpredictable. Sometimes events are cancelled or abandoned due to the weather. Other times they run over, like when they go to penalties or a tie break. If your event or the ones before it are affected, you might end up with a partial recording.
