We're dedicated to keeping you and your family safe online and, as part of our commitment to the government, we're asking all our customers to decide whether they want BT Parental Controls.

It's a FREE service for all broadband customers that lets you filter the sites and content you don't want your family to see. It helps protect every device connected to your BT Hub, or when you connect to a BT Wi-fi hotspot using your BT ID.

The message will offer a choice on whether or not you would like to activate Parental Controls. Our commitment to the government is to continue to ask until you decide whether or not you want the service. For some customers, a message may appear whilst using an internet browser. These messages may appear on any device connecting to your BT Hub.

If you choose to activate, you'll be able to set up your filter levels and personalise them within your My BT account to suit you and your family's needs.
