Replacement SIM customers
Your SIM will need to be activated. To do this, turn your device off and insert the SIM, then turn it on again.
Head to bt.com/go and log-in with your BT ID and password, click 'Activate.'
Activation usually only takes an hour or two, but can take up to 24 hours. You’ll know your SIM is activated when you can see the BT logo and signal bars at the top of your screen. You will be able to send messages and make calls.
Once your SIM has been activated, we’ll send you a confirmation email.
While you are waiting for your phone to activate, you can use it to go online by connecting to your home wi-fi.
