Reverse DNS is the way of finding out a friendly name from an IP address. Some mail and news servers require Reverse DNS in order to operate.
BT Broadband does provide reverse DNS. However, each time you connect to BT Broadband you'll be allocated a different IP address and a different Reverse DNS.
