Don't miss Dynamo: Beyond Belief on NOW TV from April 9

Magician Dynamo is set to return to television for a three-part special after a five-year break due to illness.

Dynamo: Beyond Belief follows the Bradford-born magician as he performs jaw-dropping magic and close-up miracles around the world. The series was filmed across three continents and included trips to Japan and Mexico.

The magician, whose real name is Steven Frayn, was forced to take time out from his career to receive treatment for Crohn’s disease and arthritis. Many of the tricks for his new show were conceived from his hospital bed.

When is it on?

Dynamo: Beyond Belief will be available to watch on Sky One with NOW TV from Thursday, April 9.

Dynamo is one of the world’s most successful working magicians. His critically acclaimed Seeing is Believing tour sold over 750,000 tickets across the globe, including sold-out arenas in the UK, South Africa and New Zealand. He was named one of the world’s highest-paid magicians in 2016 and 2017 by Forbes magazine and was nominated for Best Entertainment Show by BAFTA three years in a row.

His new series will see him attempt his riskiest trick yet, though he’s staying tight-lipped about the details.
