Few TV shows have caught the public's imagination quite like You over the last 12 months. Released on Netflix on Boxing Day 2018 with little publicity or fanfare, the psychological thriller became a word-of-mouth sensation.

Based on the 2014 novel by Caroline Kepnes, the story of New York bookstore manager and killer Joe Goldberg and his obsession with customer and aspiring writer Guinevere Beck, the series was a terrifying portrayal of a psychopath stalker in the digital age.

The perfect binge-watch melodrama, the series took influences from TV series and films such as Dexter, Gone Girl and American Psycho and brought them together with a modern toxic twist.

Season two landed on Boxing Day if you've already binged through the whole season, you're probably on the hunt for another psychological thriller.

If you need your fix of quippy internal monologues and soapy twists, here are seven other shows you will love...
