Wilderness: When is the dark thriller released on Prime Video? Who is in the cast with Jenna Coleman? All you need to know

Based on the novel of the same name, Wilderness is a “twisted love story” which has been compared to other book-to-screen adaptations such as Gone Girl and Sarah Pinborough's Behind Her Eyes.

Wilderness will be released on Prime Video in 2023.

The TV series started filming in the UK, United States and Canada in June 2022.

Jenna Coleman is the star of series such as Doctor Who, ITV’s period drama Victoria, The Cry, The Serpent and later this year will star as Johanna Constantine in Netflix’s The Sandman.

Oliver Jackson-Cohen starred in 2020’s The Invisible Man and also appeared in Netflix hit horror series The Haunting of Hill House and The Haunting of Bly Manor.

Further casting announced in July 2022 included Pretty Little Liars stars Ashley Benson, Six Feet Under's Eric Balfour and Sherwood actress Claire Rushbrook.

What is the book Wilderness about?

A novel by B.E. Jones, Wilderness is the story of British couple Liv and Will who seem to have it all: a rock-solid marriage and a glamorous new life in New York thousands of miles from their provincial hometown, yet who are still young enough to feel that their whole lives are ahead of them.
