The Umbrella Academy season 3 introduces a whole new set of characters in the smash-hit Netflix comic book series, as the siblings return home to the present - after going back in time to the 1960s in season 2 - only to be greeted by the Sparrow Academy.

Smart and stylish, the Sparrows immediately clash with the Umbrellas in a violent face-off that turns out to be the least of everyone’s concerns.

Luther / Number One (Tom Hopper)

Who plays Luther?

Luther is played by Tom Hopper. On TV, Hopper is best known for his breakout role as Dickson Tarly in season 7 of HBO’s Game of Thrones, as well as in shows including Black Sails, Barbarians Rising and Merlin. He appeared alongside Amy Schumer in the film I Feel Pretty, and starred in the films The Hitman’s Bodyguard 2 and SAS: Red Notice.

What are Luther's powers?

Luther’s main powers are super-strength and durability. 

Diego / Number Two (David Castañeda)

Who plays Diego?

Diego is played by Mexican-American actor David Castañeda, whose biggest role to date is in The Umbrella Academy. He's also appeared in the films Sicario 2: Soldado, We Die Young and Standing Up, Falling Down.

What are Diego's powers?

Diego has enhanced breath-holding abilities and gifted knife-throwing techniques.

Allison / Number Three (Emmy Raver-Lampman)

Who plays Allison?

Allison is played by Emmy Raver-Lampman, who’s appeared in TV shows A Million Little Things and Jane the Virgin. She’s appeared on the Broadway stage in Hamilton, and also starred in the musical Wicked.

What are Allison's powers?

She can manipulate reality by telling a lie, after she says 'I heard a rumour...'

Klaus / Number Four (Robert Sheehan)

Who plays Klaus?

Klaus is played by Robert Sheehan, who co-starred in the second season of Genius: Picasso, as Carlos Casagemas. He’s also appeared in the second season of Sky Atlantic’s acclaimed thriller Fortitude, plus Misfits and Love/Hate. Film-wise, he’s appeared in Mortal Engines and The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones.

What are Klaus' powers?

Klaus has the ability to communicate with the dead, possess people and telekinesis.

Five (Aidan Gallagher)

Who plays Five?

Five is played by Aidan Gallagher, a long-running cast member on Nickelodeon’s Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn. As well as being an actor, he’s also an up and coming musician, environmental activist, speaker and influencer - working to protect healthy oceans and a sustainable planet.

What are Five's powers?

Five has the ability to time travel.

Ben / Number Six (Justin H. Min)

Who plays Ben?

Ben is played by Justin H. Min, whose biggest role to date is in The Umbrella Academy. He also starred in After Yang, alongside Colin Farrell. Min is also a photographer and writer.

What are Ben's powers?

He can possess monsters from other dimensions under his skin.

Viktor / Number Seven (Elliot Page)*

Who plays Viktor?

Viktor is played by Oscar-nominated actor Elliot Page - formerly known as Ellen Page - who you might recognise from films including Juno, Inception and the X-Men films. Off screen, Page continues to be an impactful voice in the LGBTQ community, as well as a passionate advocate for environmental protection.

What are Viktor's powers?

Viktor originally showcased no particular powers, but he's actually the most powerful of The Umbrella Academy. It's revealed that he is capable of releasing destructive waves of force using his violin.
