What is The Red Road about?
The Red Road presents two different viewpoints of the US, played out through a conflict between two men.
A sheriff (Martin Henderson) struggles to keep his family together while policing two clashing communities: the small town where he grew up just outside New York City and the neighbouring mountains which are home to a federally unrecognised Native American tribe.
When a tragedy and cover-up divides the two communities, an uneasy alliance between the officer and a dangerous member of the tribe (Jason Momoa) is forged – and the lives of both quickly unravel, leading to dangerous consequences.
The Red Road cast
Martin Henderson stars as officer Harold Jensen, with Jason Momoa playing Phillip Kopus who is a member of the Ramapough Mountain people.
Julianne Nicholson plays Harold’s mentally unstable wife Jean, and Tom Sizemore also features as Phillip’s father Jack Kopus.
