Netflix has scooped some major TV adaptations recently – including Jupiter’s Legacy, an all-action sci-fi adventure based on the series of graphic novels.

Who is in the cast?

Sheldon Sampson aka The Utopian - Josh Duhamel

The world’s greatest hero is also the leader of The Union of Justice — an organisation formed by the world’s six original and most powerful superheroes after they gained their powers in the 1930s.

Sheldon oversees The Code, a series of checks and balances that ensures heroes only use their powers in the service of others, they don’t govern, and they never kill.

But times have changed over the past 90 years, leaving Sheldon with a world and a family he doesn’t really understand.

Josh Duhamel is known for Transformers, Las Vegas and All My Children.

Walter Sampson aka Brainwave – Ben Daniels

Sheldon’s older brother is another founding member of The Union – clever, cunning and frustrated by his brother wanting to serve the human race.

Ben Daniels is known for The Crown, The Exorcist and House of Cards.

Grace Sampson aka Lady Liberty – Leslie Bibb

Sheldon’s wife is also a founding member of The Union and one of the most powerful superheroes on the planet.

As the glue holding the Sampson family together, she tries to balance Sheldon’s ideals with reality.

Leslie Bibb is known for Iron Man and Popular.

Fitz Small aka The Flare – Mike Wade

Another Union founding member, Fitz suffered injuries that ended his career as a superhero but continues to be one of the most valued members of the team.

He has passed the torch on to his daughter Petra, aka The Flare II.

George Hutchence aka Skyfox – Matt Lanter

Previously Sheldon's closest friend and a powerful founding member of The Union, he has turned against his teammates.

After years of fighting crime, George became the world’s greatest supervillain and hasn’t been seen for a long time.

Matt Lanter is known for Star Wars and Ultimate Spider-Man.

Dr Richard Conrad aka Blue Bolt – David Julian Hirsh

Kind, grounded physician and Union founding member Richard is no longer a part of the organisation and his fate is a mystery.

Brandon Sampson aka Paragon – Andrew Horton

Grace and Sheldon’s son is in training to take on the mantle of The Utopian and become the new leader of The Union, but struggles to live up to his father’s legendary reputation.

Chloe Sampson – Elena Kampouris

The Sampsons’ daughter is immensely powerful, but rejects everything her parents stand for. Chloe has forged her own path to fame but it goes against everything her parents have sworn to protect.

Hutch – Ian Quinlan

George Hutchence’s son is a complex, charismatic wild card who prefers the company of young villains.

Hutch didn’t inherit his dad’s superpowers, but his Power Rod has superhero-like powers that he uses for life as a con man with a conscience.
