The most visceral, violent and thrilling drama on TV is back – the long-awaited Gangs of London season 2 is nearly here.

Sope Dirisu returns as undercover police officer turned ‘Investors’ fixer Elliot Finch. Meanwhile, the landscape of London’s criminal underworld has been realigned following the shocking events of season 1 and the destruction of the Wallace family empire.

Gangs of London season 2 is available to stream weekly on Sky Atlantic with NOW from Thursday, October 20. Season 1 is available to watch now.

We caught up with the cast and creators of the gangster drama to find out some set secrets ahead of the season 2 premiere...

We spoke to Sope Dirisu (Elliot Finch) and Corin Hardy (Director) about the epic fight sequences in the season 2 premiere, including a brawl between Sope and legendary Lithuanian strongman Zydrunas ‘Big Z’ Savickas.

Michelle Fairley (Marian Wallace) and Lucian Msamati (Ed Dumani) talk to us about the significance of costume changes in season 2 as Marian and Ed start to get their hands dirty.

And finally, husband and wife Orli and Eri Shuka reveal what it’s like starring alongside each other as Albanian mafia power couple Luan and Mirlinda Dushaj.

What happens in Gangs of London season 2?

Gangs of London season 2 is set one year after the first series, and finds gangland anarchy threatening to break out following the collapse of the Wallace Dumani empire.

The Investors have tried to bring back order by forcing Elliot to work for them and installing drug baron Asif and new brutal gang boss Koba as their leaders.

But with the unhinged Koba not playing by the usual gangster codes, and the rest of the capital's gangs preparing to hit back, the battle for London’s soul is about to be reignited.
