I Hate Suzie will arrive on NOW TV later this year

The career of star Suzie Pickles (Billie Piper) is already heading downhill when she becomes the victim of a computer hack and a photo emerges of her in an extremely compromising position.

Created by Piper and Succession writer Lucy Prebble, who previously worked together on ITV 2’s Secret Diary of a Call Girl, the eight-part series look at what happens to someone’s life when the mask slips, and asks if anyone can survive the revelation of being well and truly ‘known’.

Suzie’s trauma is explored through the stages of Shock, Denial, Fear, Shame, Bargaining, Guilt, Anger and Acceptance as she tries to stop her life, career and marriage fall apart.

Who is in the show?

Appearing alongside Billie Piper is Leila Farzad (Innocent) as her best friend and manager Naomi, and Lovesick’s Daniel Ings, as her husband Cob.

EastEnders star Phil Daniels, above, and The Crown’s Lorraine Ashbourne will play Suzie’s parents. Nathaniel Martello-White (Collateral) will also appear in the drama.
