AMC has announced its first big new series launch of 2020, bringing UK TV fans the highly anticipated original series Dispatches from Elsewhere.

Created by and starring Jason Segel (How I Met Your Mother, Forgetting Sarah Marshall), the series will premiere exclusively to BT TV customers in the UK.

Featuring an A-list cast, the 10-episode show is an anthology series.The first trailer has a surreal and trippy vibe, which has already got us very, very excited about what’s to come...

Who's in the cast?

Starring alongside Jason Segel are Sally Field (Lincoln, Forrest Gump, Steel Magnolias), Richard E Grant (Can You Ever Forgive Me?, Withnail and I), multi-Grammy winner Andre Benjamin (American Crime) and Eve Lindley (Mr Robot).

The ten-hour series follows four ordinary people who feel there’s something missing in their lives, but they can’t quite put their finger on what it is. 

This diverse foursome is brought together by chance – or perhaps it’s by design – when they stumble upon a puzzle hiding just behind the veil of everyday life. As they begin to accept the mysterious 'Dispatches from Elsewhere' challenges, they come to find that the mystery winds deeper than they imagined, and their eyes are opened to a world of possibility and magic.

The drama premieres on Wednesday, April 29th with a double-bill on AMC.
