After sweeping up at the Golden Globes and Emmy Awards for her work on Fleabag and Killing Eve, Phoebe Waller-Bridge will next star in romantic comedy thriller Run, written and directed by her long-time collaborator Vicky Jones.

What is Run about?

Run is a romantic comedy thriller about a woman who leaves her dull life in the suburbs behind and travels to New York to fulfil a pact she made with her college boyfriend.

Seventeen years before, Ruby (Merritt Wever, above) and her boyfriend Billy (Domhnall Gleeson) made a vow that if either of them texted "run" and received the same in reply, they would drop everything to travel through the USA together.

Who's in the cast?

Nurse Jackie's Wever plays Ruby with Gleeson (Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, above) as Billy, a successful life guru.

Executive producer Waller-Bridge will guest star as Laurel, a woman the pair meet on the journey. Glow's Rich Sommer plays Ruby's husband Laurence, alongside Archie Panjabi (Departure) as Billy's former PA Fiona and Tamara Podemski (Coroner) as police detective Babe Cloud.

When is it released in the UK?

The comedy thriller starts on Wednesday 15 April on Sky Comedy with NOW TV.
