Modern Live, the anthology series featuring short stories inspired by the New York Times column of the same name, is returning for a second season.
The critically acclaimed first series was a huge hit when it first arrived on Prime Video in 2019, with its life-affirming stories and big-name cast - each episode features a new set of characters - offering viewers, according to one critic, "a warm hug".

But we do know Modern Love season 2 has finished filming and the show will be released in 2021.

Just like season 1, the show has an incredible cast of famous actors you will know and love.
The impressive list includes Gbenga Akinnagbe (The Deuce), Susan Blackwell (Madam Secretary), Screen Actors Guild Award nominee Lucy Boynton (Bohemian Rhapsody), Tom Burke (Mank), Zoe Chao (Love Life), Maria Dizzia (Orange is the New Black) and Academy Award nominee Minnie Driver (Cinderella).

The season was filmed in Albany, New York City, Schenectady and Troy, New York and in Dublin, Ireland
Showrunner John Carney is also one of the directors alongside John Crowley (Brooklyn), Marta Cunningham (Insecure), Jesse Peretz (Glow), Andrew Rannells (Black Monday) and Celine Held and Logan George (Topside).
