After an unforgettable weekend of European rugby, Premiership Rugby took centre stage as a lengthened Round 21 continued on BT Sport with the tussle for the top four going down to the wire.

Northampton Saints 14-34 Sale Sharks

Sale's bonus-point win over Northampton was overshadowed by injuries to England duo Sharks' Manu Tuilagi and Saints' Courtney Lawes within the space of four first-half minutes.

The visitors were comfortably ahead through tries from Luke James (2), Simon Hammersley and a penalty try before Ahsee Tuala replied for Northampton.

Saints threatened a comeback when Alex Mitchell went but Rohan Janse van Rensburg and Valeri Morozov made sure of the win.

Bristol Bears 40-3 Leicester Tigers

Bristol continued their rich vein of form with a thumping win over struggling Leicester at Ashton Gate. The Bears turned on the style, running in six tries in the bonus point victory, ensuring the race for the play-offs goes down to the wire.

Exeter Chiefs 19-22 London Irish

Worcester Warriors 40-27 Saracens

Worcester beat an inexperienced Saracens side in an end-to-end encounter which saw 10 tries scored at Sixways Stadium.

Two first-half tries from Francois Hougaard either side of a penalty try secured a bonus point for the hosts. Mark McCall’s Saracens, knocked out of Europe last weekend, meet Bath on Sunday in their last Premiership fixture before relegation.
